What Our Patients Say

Got Questions?

Do you take insurance?

We’re out-of-network, which lets us focus on what’s best for you—not what insurance will cover. You can still submit for reimbursement and we can provide any relevant paperwork you need to do so. We gladly accept FSA/HSA cards.

Can you help after surgery or with serious injuries?

Yes. Unless you currently have a major fracture or complete tear, we can likely help. Not sure? Book a free injury consultation and we’ll assess it together.

How is CMR different from PT or chiropractic?

We focus on muscles and fascia—not just joints or general relaxation. We provide hands-on, targeted, and customized treatment to loosen up tight areas, improve healing, and create a pathway back to healthy function.

Can I still see my chiropractor or PT?

Yes. Our care often complements other providers and helps make their work more effective.

How many visits will I need?

Treatment plans often involve 5–8 visits. After that, many patients choose monthly maintenance.

Do you treat chronic pain?

Absolutely. We regularly treat chronic issues like plantar fasciitis, herniated discs, and migraines—with real hope and real results.

I have a question. Who can I talk to?

Call or text our office line at 630-999-8665, email info@cmrhealthgroup.com, or make your appointment online. We’re here to help!

What are the benefits of seeing us?

Our patients often tell us they have less pain, increased range of motion, and better function overall, even after the first visit! At CMR, we provide specialized, hands-on manual therapy and rehab exercises that allow our patients’ excellent one-on-one care. Our providers’ education allows them to examine and diagnose the root cause of the pain to get consistently fast results and rule out any major concerns.

I recently had a major surgery – how do I know if I’m still a good candidate for treatment? What type of injuries can you treat?

We work on almost all injury types, and we only refer care if there is a bone fracture or a completely torn muscle. There’s a big gap between doing nothing and going to the orthopedic surgeon. We try to fill that gap and relieve your pain without having to bring inexpensive shots, imaging, or surgery. If you are unsure how CMR can help, we always recommend scheduling a FREE injury consultation. Our providers will examine your injury and help you know if CMR is the right place for you.

How is what you provide different than massage, physical therapy, or traditional chiropractic?

The general goals of massage are overall body stress relief and relaxation. Physical therapy can vary widely, but in general, it consists of a combination of stretches and exercises. Many times it will incorporate ultrasound and/or electrical stimulation. In most cases, there is minimal hands-on work done and many times you are working with lots of other patients in a combined space. Traditional chiropractic care focuses mainly on adjusting the spine and joints of the body, and many do minimal to no soft tissue work or rehab exercises.

At Complete Muscle Recovery, we implement a hands-on approach that focuses on the soft tissue – primarily the muscles and fascia of specific parts of the body. By working to get the soft tissue functioning better, our method allows the body to move better and eliminates pain.

Can I continue to see my chiropractor or physical therapist at the same time that I visit CMR?

Many of our CMR patients have tried multiple rounds of traditional physical therapy, but are still experiencing pain and choose to work with our providers. We also have patients who still see their traditional chiropractor for adjustments and report gentler, more effective adjustments. Our services can complement other methods of care, and our providers’ education allows them to examine and diagnose the root cause of the pain to get consistent fast results and rule out any major concerns.

How often will the doctor want to see me, and what does a typical treatment plan look like?

Each treatment plan is determined specifically by your case. For most injuries, your treatment plan will reach your goals between 5 to 8 visits. Once we reach your goals, many patients transition to a “maintenance plan” of once a month.

Do you treat chronic injuries? (Plantar fasciitis, disc herniation)

Yes, we have many patients who see us for chronic issues such as plantar fasciitis, low back pain, and headaches. Dealing with these long-term injuries can lead to hopelessness and frustration. CMR brings one-on-one hands-on care to quickly get to the source of pain and eliminate those feelings of frustration and hopelessness. We love restoring hope to chronic pain sufferers!

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance. Without worrying about an insurance company dictating your care, you and your provider will decide the treatment plan that is best for you, not just “what they will cover”. Because we do not accept insurance, we cannot directly work with insurance carriers.

Many of our patients choose to submit their bills to their insurance carrier for partial reimbursement. Upon request, we will provide all necessary documentation for the patient to do so. We do accept all major debit/credit cards, Flex-Spending accounts (FSA), and Health Savings accounts (HSA).
