Integrative medicine is a more holistic way to approach healthcare. It still encompasses mainstream medicine if needed, but also incorporates naturopathic and homeopathic medicine, and focuses on prevention of health issues or healing the root cause of disease and illness rather than just treating symptoms.
What to Expect
Your First Visit to Complete Medical Recovery
Welcome to Complete Medical Recovery!
Watch this brief video as Kelsey Jimenez, APN-FPA, walks you through everything you need to know for your first appointment.
What to Expect
CMR Medical utilizes integrative medicine to obtain a comprehensive evaluation of your health. Our goal is to find the root cause of health conditions and avoid any band-aids that may just cover symptoms.
- At your first appointment, we spend time getting to know your entire health history, current concerns, and what has or has not worked well for you in the past.
- We will take a look at any recent labs and discuss current medications or supplements you may be taking.
- During this appointment, we will also discuss lab work that we can either do through insurance and/or our specialty labs.
- We will also schedule your lab review—where we meet again to go over all the lab results and get a plan in place to get you feeling your best.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do we typically treat?
We often work with patients on health optimization, illness prevention, gut dysfunction, hormone issues, inflammation problems, thyroid disease, weight problems, food sensitivities, and micronutrient deficiencies.
Do I need to bring anything to my first appointment?
Please bring:
- Your insurance card
- A list of any medications you are taking with the dose included.
- If you are taking supplements, you can bring in the bottle or take a picture of the ingredients, as all supplements are made differently.
- A copy of any recent labs completed in the last 6 months.
If your appointment is in the morning, please try to fast before your appointment (no food or drink 8–10 hours prior). You may drink water or black coffee. If fasting does not work for you on the day of your appointment, we can pick a time that works best for you to return for labs.
What is your pricing?
Pricing varies based on what kind of appointment you have.
- New Patient First Visit
- 60 minutes – $385
- Lab Follow-Up
- 45 minutes – $275
- Existing Patient Follow-Up, Illness Visit, Child Simple New Patient, Child Wellness Visit, and Testosterone Assessment and Simple Lab Follow-Up
- 30 minutes – $195
Do you take insurance?
We do not accept insurance. Without worrying about an insurance company dictating your care, you and your provider will decide the treatment plan that is best for you, not just “what they will cover.” Because we do not accept insurance, we cannot directly work with insurance carriers.
Additionally, when using insurance, we are limited by time constraints. Our ability to get to the root cause of your health concerns and conditions is directly correlated to the amount of time we are able to spend together talking and teaching our patients how they can change their health outcomes.
