Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the CMR Gut Health Program different?

Our approach goes beyond symptom management. We use comprehensive lab testing and an individualized treatment plan designed to address the root cause of your GI issues—whether it’s SIBO, inflammation, or something else—so you can heal from the inside out.

What kind of lab tests do you run?

All clients in our gut health program undergo a stool test and two breath tests, which they will do at home. During your first appointment, we’ll review these two tests in detail to ensure the process is clear and you’re completely comfortable with performing them before you leave. After you do your tests at home, we will follow up and discuss your results. Additional testing, if needed, may be done at a later time.

Is this program only for people with a diagnosed condition?

No diagnosis? No problem. This program is designed for anyone struggling with persistent digestive symptoms—even if previous tests have come back “normal.” We specialize in helping people who feel like they haven’t gotten answers elsewhere.

Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?

No referral is needed. You can book directly with us by clicking Make My Appointment and we’ll take it from there.

How long does it take to see results?

Every case is different, but many patients begin feeling noticeable improvement within the first few weeks of following their individualized plan. Full healing often happens over the course of several months, provided you stick to your wellness plan and communicate with your provider about what’s working and what’s not working.

Can I use insurance for this program?

We do not accept insurance. Without worrying about an insurance company dictating your care, you and your provider will decide the treatment plan that is best for you, not just “what they will cover.” Because we do not accept insurance, we cannot directly work with insurance carriers.

Additionally, when using insurance, we are limited by time constraints. Our ability to get to the root cause of your health concerns and conditions is directly correlated to the amount of time we are able to spend together talking and teaching our patients how they can change their health outcomes.
